In the next 8 years, David produced, directed and distributed 46 films. One of these,
Night Trap, won the first prize Golden Award at the Houston World Fest International Film Festival. The film starrs Robert Davi, Michael Ironside, Lesley-Ann Down, and Academy Award nominee Margaret Avery.

Good Cop Bad Cop Starring Pamela Anderson, David Keith, Robert Hays and Stacy Keach, won the bronze award at the Charleston Film Festival.

Other films include: Firehead starring three times Academy Award nominee and winner Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer; Raw Nerve starring Glenn Ford and Tracy Lords; Centre of the Web starring Tony Curtis, Charlene Tilton and Robert Davi; Double Threat starring Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland.

His film The Dangerous has a cast that includes John Savage, Michael Pare, Elliot Gould, Joel Grey, Robert Davi and Cary Tagawa, between them responsible for 3 Academy Award nominations and one winner.

In Romania he filmed the pilot for Star School, a unique musical television series. Star School won the coveted first prize at the prestgious Montreaux Television Festival.

Mr. Winters is also currently a major stock holder in Equator Films, an English Prod/Distrib. company listed on the U.K. Stock Exchange. It boasts a Theatrical Star Studded film library of 100 films that includes Time Bandits, The Long Good Friday, Runaway Train, Mona Lisa, and such stars as Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Denzel Washington, Madonna, Jodie Foster, Michael Cain, Sean Penn, Jon Voight, Michelle Pfeiffer, etc.

He recently finished directing / producing Welcome 2 Ibiza, an action comedy starring Gary Busey for his new company Alpha Beta Films International. The film won The Audience Award for Best Picture at the Bangkok Film Festival.

Mr. Winters is currently in Asia scouting locations for his next two films. The first of which is tentatively titled "The Mercenary" is in pre production, and is scheduled to start principal photography in July 2004.

He has just been filmed for the documentary film "Inside Deep Throat", a Universal Films, Imagine Entertainment, HBO, and World of Wonder production, that opens theatrically in the USA in Sept. 2004, released by Universal Focus Films. This documentary examines the effect that the film and Linda Lovelace had on an entire generation of people around the world and became the most successful film ever made in the history of filmaking.At this time, Mr.

Winters sees a great future in the British/European/Asian entertainment industry and spends a great deal of time traveling between these continents. Although he holds both U.S.A. and British citizenship, he proclaims to being a citizen of the world.
